Banana Smoothie
This banana smoothie recipe is great for all ages but kids absolutely love it. It’s naturally sweet.
💡 Freeze brown bananas and use these. The riper the banana, the sweeter the smoothie.
Ingredients
🍽 Serves: 1 | ⏱ 5 minutes
1/2 large banana
100g natural yoghurt
100ml Milk
1 tsp honey
3 tsp psyllium husks
Ground cinnamon
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
Garnish with banana slices and dust with cinnamon
Twists:
Add a teaspoon of ground flax seeds or chia seeds to add more fibre and other nutrients
Add 2-3 tablespoons of raw old-fashioned oats to make it more filling
Add a teaspoon of cacao powder for a chocolate banana smoothie
Swap honey for maple syrup
