Banana Smoothie

Banana Smoothie

This banana smoothie recipe is great for all ages but kids absolutely love it. It’s naturally sweet.

💡 Freeze brown bananas and use these. The riper the banana, the sweeter the smoothie. 


Ingredients

🍽 Serves: 1 | ⏱ 5 minutes

  • 1/2 large banana

  • 100g natural yoghurt

  • 100ml Milk

  • 1 tsp honey

  • 3 tsp psyllium husks

  • Ground cinnamon

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth

  2. Garnish with banana slices and dust with cinnamon

Twists:

  1. Add a teaspoon of ground flax seeds or chia seeds to add more fibre and other nutrients

  2. Add 2-3 tablespoons of raw old-fashioned oats to make it more filling

  3. Add a teaspoon of cacao powder for a chocolate banana smoothie

  4. Swap honey for maple syrup
