Banana Smoothie
This banana smoothie recipe is great for all ages but kids absolutely love it. Itβs naturally sweet.
π‘ Freeze brown bananas and use these. The riper the banana, the sweeter the smoothie.
Ingredients
π½ Serves: 1 | β± 5 minutes
1/2 large banana
100g natural yoghurt
100ml Milk
1 tsp honey
3 tsp psyllium husks
Ground cinnamon
Method
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth
Garnish with banana slices and dust with cinnamon
Twists:
Add a teaspoon of ground flax seeds or chia seeds to add more fibre and other nutrients
Add 2-3 tablespoons of raw old-fashioned oats to make it more filling
Add a teaspoon of cacao powder for a chocolate banana smoothie
Swap honey for maple syrup
